It has been a joy to watch Alea's growth and changes in her artwork. On these long, sweet summer days the girls have spent their time in various ways and somedays Alea has emerged from her room or elsewhere in the house with art that she has spent hours on. This has been one of my personal favorites, done right before we left for Alaska in July. It is a portrait of all the people in our family, with lots of details about each of us. Very sweet and definitely a keeper! After making this she also made a "family tree" which was a tree and each of our names on it with grandparents too and then a little verse about how God has created our family. Very tender of her...
